About these terms
These terms set out the rules for using the Affordit website, planning tools, account areas and related services.
Affordit is a product of ElenIQ Ltd. The approved version will include the complete legal-entity and contact details needed for a binding set of terms.
Using Affordit
Affordit provides information, calculations and planning support. Outputs depend on the information entered and assumptions available at the time. Users remain responsible for checking their inputs and deciding whether to act.
Users should keep account details secure, provide information they are entitled to use and review assumptions before relying on an output. A plan is an educational estimate, not a guarantee of cost, eligibility, approval or future circumstances.
What Affordit is not
Affordit is not a bank, lender, financial adviser, credit broker, insurer, mortgage adviser or debt-advice service unless a future service is separately authorised and clearly identified.
Accounts and saved content
Some features require an account. Users are responsible for activity carried out through their account and should report suspected unauthorised access promptly.
Users must provide accurate account information, keep authentication methods secure and must not allow another person to use their account in a way that defeats access, plan or subscription limits.
Plan limits and feature availability may vary between free, promotional and paid access. Any paid terms, price, renewal, cancellation and entitlement rules must be shown clearly before purchase. No draft wording on this page activates billing.
Acceptable use
Users must use Affordit lawfully and must respect the rights, privacy and security of other people. Accounts may be suspended where reasonably needed to protect users, institutions or the service.
- Do not attempt unauthorised access to another account, plan, shared link, administrative function or underlying system.
- Do not introduce malware, probe for vulnerabilities, disrupt availability or bypass technical, usage, entitlement or security controls.
- Do not use Affordit for fraud, harassment, impersonation, spam or activity that harms or exploits another person, including a child or vulnerable user.
- Do not scrape, reproduce, reverse engineer or commercially exploit protected parts of the service except where law expressly permits it.
- Do not submit information that you do not have the right to use or share.
Shared plans
Users are responsible for deciding what to share and with whom. A valid shared-plan link may be accessible without sign-in, so users should not include unnecessary personal or identifying information in shared content.
Saving another person’s shared plan creates an independent copy. It does not transfer ownership of the original or grant access to the original owner’s account.
Ownership and permitted use
Affordit, its interface, explanatory content, software, branding and original materials are owned by or licensed to ElenIQ Ltd unless stated otherwise. Users receive a limited, personal, non-exclusive and revocable right to use the service in accordance with these terms.
Users retain responsibility for information they enter. They permit Affordit to process that information only as needed to provide, secure and improve the service in accordance with the approved privacy information.
External links and commercial content
Affordit may link to third-party websites or services. A link does not make Affordit responsible for the third party’s availability, accuracy, terms, privacy practices or suitability.
Affiliate, sponsored or partner content must be identified. Commercial relationships must not alter affordability calculations, scores, confidence indicators or recommendation ranking.
Availability and changes
Affordit may maintain, update, restrict or withdraw parts of the service. Material changes to these terms should be communicated appropriately and recorded through the policy version process.
No enterprise-level uptime or support commitment is made unless it appears in a separate approved agreement.
Suspension and termination
Affordit may restrict or suspend access where reasonably necessary to investigate misuse, protect another user, comply with law, preserve security or prevent material harm. Where appropriate, users should be told the reason and available route to challenge the decision.
Users may stop using Affordit and may request account deletion. Ending access does not remove obligations or records that must reasonably continue for legal, accounting, security or dispute-handling purposes.
Account deletion
Users may delete their account subject to limited legal, accounting, security or dispute-handling retention requirements described in the approved privacy and retention information.
Questions, complaints and governing terms
Questions and complaints can be raised through the monitored support route. Privacy, safeguarding, accessibility, security, billing and financial-content concerns are routed to the relevant owner.
The approved terms must confirm governing law, jurisdiction, consumer rights and liability wording after specialist legal review. Those provisions are deliberately not invented in this draft.
Questions or concerns
Contact the monitored Affordit support route. Include the affected page, but do not send passwords, card details, bank details, identity documents or unnecessary financial information.
