Essential technologies may remember a secure session, protect a request, retain a necessary preference or maintain the state of a journey. They are not used simply because measurement or marketing would be convenient.

Optional technologies

Optional analytics or marketing technologies must not load until the user has made an appropriate choice. Consent controls should provide equally clear accept and reject routes and allow a later withdrawal.

Withdrawing consent should be as straightforward as giving it. Withdrawal does not affect processing that was lawful before the choice changed.

Analytics and product measurement

Where optional analytics is enabled, Affordit uses it to understand broad product performance, such as whether a page loads or a journey is completed. Analytics must not be used to send raw financial values, plan contents, passwords, card details or unnecessary personal identifiers.

The approved cookie register must match the live analytics configuration before this policy becomes effective.
