In these Terms:

• Affordit means the Affordit website, web app, mobile app and related services.
• ElenIQ, we, us or our means ElenIQ Ltd.
• you or user means anyone using Affordit.

Affordit is a simple affordability planning tool.

It helps users check whether a purchase route may feel realistic based on information they choose to enter, such as:

• savings
• income estimates
• monthly contribution
• rent or mortgage amount
• monthly living costs
• emergency buffer
• selected currency
• goal cost
• target timeline
• finance or monthly payment details where relevant

Affordit may estimate affordability scores, monthly contribution requirements, timelines, gaps and suggested next steps.

Affordit provides general planning guidance only.

Affordit is not:

• a lender
• a broker
• a credit checker
• a financial adviser
• a debt adviser
• a mortgage adviser
• an insurance adviser
• a tax adviser
• a credit reference agency

Affordit does not provide financial, legal, tax, lending, mortgage, debt or investment advice.

Affordit does not make lending decisions, provide loan offers, guarantee affordability, guarantee eligibility or assess whether a third-party provider will approve you for any product or service.

You are responsible for making your own financial decisions.

Affordit does not perform credit checks.

Affordit does not require a bank connection.

Affordit does not access your bank account, credit report or formal lending history.

Any results shown by Affordit are based only on the information you choose to enter.

Affordit calculations are estimates.

They may be based on simplified assumptions and may not include every cost, fee, tax, personal circumstance or future change.

Results may be affected by:

• inaccurate user inputs
• missing costs
• changing interest rates
• inflation
• changes in income
• changes in living costs
• changes in personal circumstances
• third-party provider criteria
• exchange rate differences
• taxes, fees or charges not included in the calculation

You should not rely on Affordit as the only basis for making financial decisions.

Before committing to a major purchase, finance agreement, rental agreement, mortgage, loan or other financial commitment, you should consider seeking advice from an appropriately qualified professional.

You may be able to create an account to save routes, compare scenarios or access saved information across devices.

You are responsible for keeping your login details secure.

You should not allow anyone else to use your account.

We may suspend or restrict access if we reasonably believe your account is being misused or used in breach of these Terms.

Some Affordit features may store information locally in your browser or device.

If account syncing is enabled, saved route data may also be stored in a backend database and linked to your account.

If you clear browser storage, delete the app or change devices, locally saved routes may be lost unless they have been synced to your account.

You agree that you will:

• provide accurate information where possible
• use Affordit only for lawful purposes
• not attempt to misuse, disrupt, reverse engineer or attack the service
• not use Affordit to make automated or excessive requests
• not upload or enter unlawful, harmful or highly sensitive information
• not use Affordit in a way that infringes the rights of others

You should not enter highly sensitive information such as bank account numbers, card numbers, national insurance numbers, passport details, medical information, credit report details or passwords.

We aim to keep Affordit available and useful, but we do not guarantee that the service will always be available, uninterrupted or error-free.

We may update, change, suspend or remove parts of Affordit at any time.

We may also change or remove features, including free features, saved route features, account features or planning tools.

Affordit may offer free features, account-based features or paid features in the future.

Where paid features are introduced, any pricing, billing, cancellation or refund terms will be provided before purchase.

Unless stated otherwise, creating a free account does not guarantee permanent access to all current or future features.

Affordit may rely on third-party services to operate the app, including services for:

• authentication
• hosting
• database functionality
• analytics
• monitoring
• Google sign-in

We are not responsible for third-party services that we do not control.

Your use of third-party services may be subject to their own terms and privacy policies.

We do not endorse or control third-party websites and are not responsible for their content, availability, accuracy, privacy practices or terms.

Affordit, including its branding, design, text, interface, software, calculations, structure and related materials, is owned by or licensed to ElenIQ Ltd.

You may use Affordit for personal planning purposes.

You may not copy, reproduce, sell, redistribute, modify or create derivative works from Affordit without our permission, except where allowed by law.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Affordit and ElenIQ Ltd are not liable for:

• financial decisions you make using Affordit
• losses caused by inaccurate or incomplete user inputs
• differences between Affordit estimates and real-world outcomes
• rejected finance, mortgage, rental or lending applications
• loss of savings, income, opportunity, profit or data
• service interruptions, errors or unavailable features
• third-party products, services or websites

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability where it would be unlawful to do so.

Affordit is provided on an as is and as available basis.

We do not guarantee that Affordit will meet your specific needs, produce accurate results in every case, or be available at all times.

Your use of Affordit is also governed by our Privacy Policy.

If we make material changes, we may notify users by email, in-app message or website notice where appropriate.

Continued use of Affordit after changes means you accept the updated Terms.

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales.

The courts of England and Wales will have jurisdiction, except where consumer protection laws in your country require otherwise.
